New front top strut mount true 3” leveling lift kit specifically designed for new body style 2007-2014 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban 1500, GMC Yukon and GMC Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD trucks.
Products made from aluminum, polyurethane, delrin, nylon or any other "plastic" derivative will not stand up to the weight and are not advised for this use. STEEL is the only true material that should be used.
Kit includes 2 STEEL upper mount spacers and grade 8 steel hardware and 2 STEEL lower strut brackets and Grade 8 hardware.
By using a lower mount plate in conjunction with the top spacer eliminates the binding and wear resulting in premature strut failure common with top mounted only spacers.
We machine our spacers with tapered sides to match the control arms taper to insure proper fitment. Square blocks will not seat properly in the control arms and could cause damage to the strut or control arm.
The 2.5” kit allows for 33” tires on the 2WD models and 35” tires on the 4WD models with factory set back rims.
Kit can be installed in 60-90 minutes with common shop tools and no spring compressor is required.
Front-end alignment is required after any suspension modification.
